This second edition builds on the work of our Society founders who recognized the need to assemble their various native plant propagation notes and methods to produce a volume of shared expertise.
The Handbook covers wildflowers, trees, and shrubs native to North Carolina and is a useful reference covering seed collection and preparation, vegetative propagation, and fern propagation. (See Table of Contents, below)
Proceeds from the sale of the Handbook go to the Shinn Scholarship Grant Fund, which sponsors North Carolina native plant research and eduction by undergraduates and graduate students.
