Cullowhee Scholarship
The Society also sponsors two full scholarships (includes a field trip) for a North Carolina college student to the Cullowhee Native Plant Conference held in July each year.
These scholarships pay the conference registration fee, room and board and field trip registration fee.
The Cullowhee Scholarship Committee, headed by Ms. Miegan Smith Gordon runs the selection process.
Notifications for applications are normally mailed to Colleges and Universities in early March.
